Terms and Conditions
Layze provides an ordering concierge service, designed to provide a seamless one-stop solution for browsing, organizing, ordering, and after-service needs for your furnishing projects. As your single point of contact, we liaise with all sellers on your behalf to simplify the process, while you may enjoy any applicable discounts through our trade relationships. We might earn a margin for this coordination service, but product quality, pricing, lead times, and all other details are set by the sellers—please check their websites or stores for the latest information, and original invoices are available upon request.
Definitions
- Layze: The platform and services that acts as your ordering concierge to facilitate coordination with sellers.
- User/Customer: You, the individual using our services to browse, organize, place orders, and manage after-service for home furnishings.
- Seller: Third-party suppliers or retailers listed or connected through Layze, who are fully responsible for their products and fulfillment.
- Services: Our concierge assistance in importing product links into your projects, visualizing arrangements, coordinating orders, applying any available discounts, managing your dashboard, providing WhatsApp support, and liaising with sellers as your point of contact—without any direct involvement in sales, storage, shipping, or quality control.
Services Provided
Layze helps you effortlessly import product links from any online store, automatically pulling in images and details to organize your projects on a drag-and-drop canvas. We coordinate your orders with sellers and serve as your dedicated point of contact for updates and after-service needs, all manageable from one intuitive dashboard with expert advice via WhatsApp. Importantly, we do not sell products ourselves—sellers handle all fulfillment, warranties, and compliance with Hong Kong laws such as the Sale of Goods Ordinance, and their websites and/or stores remain the definitive source for product specifications.
User Obligations
As a user, you agree to provide accurate and complete information for your orders, authorize payments directed to sellers via our platform, and comply with both our Terms and the sellers' terms and conditions (which you must review on their websites or in stores before proceeding). By using our Services, you acknowledge that while Layze will assist in liaising with sellers as part of our concierge support, we bear no responsibility for any non-performance, delays, or issues on the sellers' part. You also agree to indemnify Layze against any claims arising from inaccurate information you provide or disputes related to seller performance.
Seller Responsibilities
Sellers retain complete responsibility for the quality, specifications, fitness for purpose, merchantability, warranties, delivery timelines, and overall compliance of their products with applicable Hong Kong consumer protection laws, including the Supply of Services (Implied Terms) Ordinance. Layze does not inspect, test, endorse, or assume any liability for sellers' products or services; all customer claims, refunds, or resolutions for defects must be directed through the sellers, with Layze happy to facilitate communication where possible.
Product Disclaimers
Layze makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees whatsoever regarding the quality, condition, performance, or suitability of products offered by sellers—such items are provided strictly "as is" by the sellers themselves. Any implied terms under Hong Kong law apply exclusively to the sellers, and Layze disclaims all liability for defects, damages, non-conformance, or any other issues arising from seller products. For the most accurate and up-to-date details, always refer to the sellers' websites, stores, or sales representatives as the final authority.
Fees and Payments
You will be charged the sellers' listed prices plus any additional fees clearly displayed upfront during the ordering process; Layze might earn a transparent margin for our coordination services, but all payments are processed directly to the sellers. We do not handle refunds, returns, or adjustments for seller-related issues such as product defects, delivery delays, pricing changes, or order cancellations—any such matters must be resolved directly with the sellers under their policies, though our concierge team will assist in liaising on your behalf. By placing an order, you confirm acceptance of the sellers' terms and pricing as shown at checkout.
Intellectual Property
When you import product images or links into your Layze projects, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use that content solely for providing the Services, such as display in your dashboard or coordination with sellers. Layze retains all rights to its platform, branding, and proprietary tools, while you keep ownership of your personal project data (subject to our processing for service delivery).
Liability Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Layze's total liability for any claims arising from our Services is limited to the amount of fees (if any) you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude all liability for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, as well as any losses related to seller performance, third-party content, or interruptions in service. Our Services are provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied, beyond what is explicitly stated here.
Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time by closing your account or ceasing orders. Layze reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for breaches of these Terms (such as fraudulent activity or misuse), with reasonable notice where possible. Upon termination, any ongoing orders with sellers will continue under the sellers' terms, and we will assist in handover as your concierge where feasible.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of Hong Kong, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Hong Kong. Any disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiations between the parties; if unresolved, legal proceedings may follow.
Changes and Acceptance
By placing an order through Layze or using our Services to coordinate purchases, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as all applicable sellers' terms. Layze may update these Terms from time to time, with changes posted on our platform and notified via email or dashboard alerts. Your continued use of the Services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
